Elmo Rietschle announced the release of the enhanced VCS 301 rotary vane vacuum pump, a next-generation solution designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern industrial environments. The VCS 301 is a replacement to the original VCS 300 and, building on the success of the original model, this upgraded model achieves deeper vacuum levels, with an ultimate pressure of 0.09 mbar under ideal laboratory conditions. It is available in the EMEIA market.

The VCS 301 has a lower operating temperature, ensuring improved thermal stability and extended equipment lifespan. It offers significant energy savings, delivering up to 32% reduction in energy consumption (~1.5 kW), contributing to lower operational costs and enhanced sustainability. The VCS 301 maintains usable volume flow even at low vacuum levels, with ultimate pressure in the ~0.1 mbar range, ideal for precision-driven applications.

Elmo Rietschle is also excited to unveil the VCS 301+, which is a new model to complement the VCS 301. The 301+ features the larger of the two available motors (7.5 kW) that delivers an impressive 10% increase in volume flow without altering the unit’s footprint or design.
