The inaugural Industrial Sustainability Best Practices (ISBP) Conference was successfully held, June 17-18, 2025, in Barcelona, Spain. The event focused on high-impact energy and water conservation projects available in industrial compressed air, cooling water, nitrogen, blower and vacuum systems.
Attendees from 18 countries (50% Spain, 50% other Europe) heard from 24 expert conference speakers from 15 countries who gave highly technical presentations and offered interactive discussions.
Carlos Capilla Camacho, Energy and Environmental Lead, Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages, shared their four pillars of compressed air management at all plants: process optimization, competency, standardization and digitalization.

TEAM INDUSTRIAL, a leading Valencia-based distributor led by General Manager Alberto Saiz Galbadon, presented on modern industrial vacuum and nitrogen system optimization. “This is a really interesting event for us. It serves as a great forum for factories, distributors, measurement instrument OEMs and engineering companies to share solutions to common issues in industrial compressed air, nitrogen, vacuum and cooling systems,” said Alfred Roca, Sales Director, TEAM INDUSTRIAL.
Airmatic, a leading distributor in Catalonia, had Commercial Director Carles Gamito, provide an insightful presentation on how to efficiently deploy multiple VSD air compressors in one installation. “It has been a pleasure to participate in such an enriching technical event,” said Gamito. “We believe compressed air, in the future, is becoming a strategic pillar for industrial efficiency and sustainability.”

The Compressed Air Challenge Level 1 Fundamentals training course was offered in Europe in the Spanish language for the first time. Attendees said Instructor Juan Londono, Air Unlimited, did a fantastic job and that the training was ideal for engineering firms, factories and sales engineers.
Attendees shared ideas and discovered new technologies in the Networking Expo featuring 19 Exhibitors. Technology categories displayed were air compressors, nitrogen generators, compressed air purification and piping, compressed air measurement, chillers and cooling towers. “Thank you so much for the great event and the outstanding organization,” said Pablo Moya Fernández, General Manager, BOGE Compresores Ibérica.
